Hackakl Data at Koordinates
Hi all,
Hamish (@polemic) from Koordinates here. As mentioned in the last email, we have set up a site to host spatial data relevant to the event. We've pre-loaded over 90 spatial data sets so far, including core infrastructure, some census aggregations, LINZ topographic data, electoral information and more.
The site is available for anyone to use at: https://hackakl.koordinates.com
All public data is downloadable, or you can hook up your application using our developer APIs.
If you're familiar with spatial data, you can also upload your own datasets, to share with others or to publish for your app or visualisation. And if you need a hand finding a piece of data we don't have, get in touch at hackakl@koordinates.com.
You can also find a bunch of useful information at the LINZ Data Service (https://data.linz.govt.nz) and our own index (https://koordinates.com).
Koordinates devs will be around on the weekend, so flick us an email or ping us on @Koordinates if you've got a question about finding, analysing and visualising spatial data!
